Developing and executing PR strategies aligned with Acast’s business, brand, and growth objectives.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and influencers across podcasting, media, advertising, technology, entertainment, and business.
Generating earned media coverage by identifying newsworthy stories, developing targeted pitches, and proactively engaging relevant media.
Managing press releases and company announcements, including research releases, product developments, commercial partnerships, and creator initiatives.

Positioning Acast and its senior executives as industry authorities through interviews, opinion pieces, speaking opportunities, and commentary.
Hands-on preparation of briefing materials, talking points, and media training for Acast spokespeople ahead of interviews and public appearances.
Working cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, sales, commercial, creative) to extract data, research, and insights for compelling PR stories.
Editorial Content, Social & Events
Driving hands-on content creation for social platforms when required to elevate local podcasts and brand campaigns across social networks, partnering with the global marketing team.
Supporting events and key industry moments, including conferences, podcasting festivals, product launches, and commercial showcases to increase Acast's visibility.
Who you are
6+ years working in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, or a similar communications role.
A strong, existing network of media contacts across tech, advertising, entertainment, business, and podcasting.
High confidence in pitching stories, securing top-tier coverage, responding to enquiries, and managing media opportunities.
Ability to map PR strategies to business goals and evaluate metrics (reach, sentiment, share of voice).
Proven experience producing press releases, executive talking points, briefing documents, pitches, and opinion pieces.
Skilled at identifying compelling angles from data and research, translating brand news into engaging visual or written content for social platforms.
Ability to turn senior leaders into credible, sought-after commentators in the industry.
Comfortable working independently as the local expert while collaborating closely with global brand teams, local commercial teams, and creators.
Sharp instincts for reputation management, reactive PR, and sensitive communications.
Genuine enthusiasm for podcasting, digital culture, media, and advertising.
