Senior Ad Ops Manager
About Acast
Since 2014, Acast has been building the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, creating the technology that connects podcast creators, advertisers, and listeners. Its marketplace spans more than 140,000 podcasts, 3,300 advertisers, and one billion quarterly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen—across any podcast app or listening platform.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Ad Ops Manager to drive operational excellence across our local Australian and New Zealand markets. Working as a key regional partner within our Global Team, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end post-sales ecosystem across host-read, dynamic insertion, programmatic, sponsorship, branded podcast, and video campaigns.
Based in Australia, you will focus on campaign management excellence and serve as a strategic bridge between local Sales, Content, Finance, Product, and Engineering building scalable workflows, driving revenue delivery, and mentoring our local team to ensure seamless campaign execution and world-class support for our Advertisers and Creators.
What you'll do
Oversee trafficking and end-to-end delivery of host-read, dynamically inserted, programmatic, sponsorship, branded podcast, and video campaigns across direct and programmatic buying routes.
Ensure campaigns deliver flawlessly against contractual commitments and financial targets.
Oversee and mentor the local Ad Ops team in your market.
Build scalable, automated workflows from sales > campaign booking > creative > trafficking > delivery > reporting > billing, while providing operational support to the Managing Director.
Resolve underdelivery, tracking discrepancies, creative issues, targeting problems, feed errors, and reporting mismatches alongside internal Ad Tech and Engineering teams.
Partner closely with Sales, Revenue, Finance, Product, and Engineering to optimize execution and support commercial growth across AU/NZ.
Ensure all ad creatives and campaigns meet platform standards, brand-safety guidelines, legal requirements, and contractual obligations.
Manage deal setups, inventory forecasting, sell-through rates, targeting, and measurement within all ad servers, SSP platforms, DSP integrations, and tracking tools.
Who you are
Proven expertise overseeing the full post-sales lifecycle for Advertisers and Creators, executing and scaling campaign operations through automation and structured workflows alongside direct reports.
Strong track record of collaborating with local Sales Leadership across AU/NZ on new Ad-Ops processes, product launches, and evolving tools to meet commercial market demand.
Proven ability to project manage Ad Operations initiatives and act as a main regional point of contact for Product Managers and Engineering on proprietary platform development.
Hands-on experience partnering closely with Finance to manage end-of-month billing and reconciliation processes, including resolving financial discrepancies and complex client queries.
Specialist domain knowledge in troubleshooting across all delivery channels (Direct/PG/PMP/video), with expertise in advising clients and internal stakeholders on complex targeting and measurement solutions.
Experience collaborating with global Ad Ops leads in maintaining training documentation and enforcing process consistency across internal and vendor teams.
Prior experience mentoring team members within Ad Ops on technical and operational tasks is desirable.
Location
While we do operate with a high degree of trust and flexibility for our employees, the expectation for this role is to be present in our Sydney office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Candidates should be within a commutable distance to accommodate this schedule. Monday and Friday are optional days but office attendance may occasionally be required.
