Key Account Manager
About Acast
Since 2014, Acast has been building the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, creating the technology that connects podcast creators, advertisers, and listeners. Its marketplace spans more than 140,000 podcasts, 3,300 advertisers, and one billion quarterly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen—across any podcast app or listening platform.
About the role
As Acast continues to grow in the Irish market, we are hiring a Key Account Manager. In this role, you will take over agency relationships currently managed by the Irish Sales Director and unlock new revenue opportunities for these partners. Day to day, you will present, network, respond to briefs, and open up new client partnerships.
What you'll do
Account Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key media agency groups across Ireland. Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, build long-term partnerships, and represent the business at agency meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Revenue Growth: Own revenue targets for your assigned agency accounts and consistently achieve or exceed sales goals. Identify, develop, and convert new podcast advertising opportunities while proactively generating demand through consultative selling and market education. Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasts and revenue projections.
Commercial Excellence: Deliver persuasive sales presentations to agency stakeholders and clients. Stay informed on developments in podcast advertising, digital audio, and the wider Irish media landscape. Partner with internal sales, campaign management, and content teams to deliver high-quality client solutions.
Who you are
Experienced in a client-facing sales role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Knowledgeable about the Irish media landscape, with established relationships within Irish media agencies.
Commercially minded, with experience negotiating commercial agreements and identifying revenue growth opportunities.
Highly organized, with strong pipeline management, forecasting, and time management skills.
A collaborative team player who can work cross-functionally across sales, operations, and content teams.
Passionate about podcasts, digital media, and emerging advertising trends.
Previous experience in digital audio, VOD and social is a strong plus.
Location
Flexible. We have hot desks at Iconic Offices, but where you work is optional. However, in this role you will be expected to meet with clients and agencies weekly for presentations and meetings. The team aims to get together weekly for lunch/team meetings.
Culture
Acast is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin or any of the other wonderful characteristics that make us different.
Culture is our number one priority as a business. We believe people come first, and we work every day to enable autonomy, continuous improvement and bring out the best in people. We’re global and have remote teams, so it’s even more important that we strive for an open, inclusive and caring environment where everyone feels visible and welcome.
We consider ourselves a modern organization driven by strong values to create the best, most fulfilling and nurturing culture.
We very much look forward to finding the next great person to join our cause!
