Its marketplace spans more than 140,000 podcasts, 3,300 advertisers, and one billion quarterly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen—across any podcast app or listening platform.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer that has the ability to work with Netsuite and SuiteScript development to build custom applications and integrations. You will work in an autonomous, purpose driven team and take an important role in shipping new features while continuously increasing efficiency, stability and scalability of our financial systems.
Beyond strong technical execution, the role requires an ability to interpret business and problem formulations together with your team, drive clarity, and turn that shared understanding into effective technical solutions. You are also expected to ensure that Acast continues to follow cutting edge development practices, both in our codebase and in how we shape our processes.
What you´ll do
Write and test modern SuiteScript of all types, including Suitelets, Restlets, and Scheduled scripts.
Design and implement API integrations and SuiteFlow workflows.
Manage relationships and technical requirements with key stakeholders from our commercial and finance departments.
Take shared operational responsibility for the services owned by your team, including support duties and taking part in an on-call rotation.
Work in a multi-disciplinary environment with agile principles.
Mentor others in the technical aspects you are already an expert in and value working in a diverse team.
Who you are
You have 3 or more years of experience in Netsuite development.
You have professional experience in financial engineering.
You are comfortable with Node.js and Typescript.
You have a pragmatic mindset and can make trade-offs on what to optimize for and when to ship.
You are curious, can adapt quickly, and enjoy a dynamic environment.
You have an interest in or experience with AWS, C#, or Salesforce.
Culture
Acast is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin or any of the other wonderful characteristics that make us different.
Culture is our number one priority as a business. We believe people come first, and we work every day to enable autonomy, continuous improvement and bring out the best in people. We’re global and have remote teams, so it’s even more important that we strive for an open, inclusive and caring environment where everyone feels visible and welcome.
We consider ourselves a modern organization driven by strong values to create the best, most fulfilling and nurturing culture.
We very much look forward to finding the next great person to join our cause!
