Finance Support Specialist
About Acast
Since 2014, Acast has been building the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, creating the technology that connects podcast creators, advertisers, and listeners. Its marketplace spans more than 140,000 podcasts, 3,300 advertisers, and one billion quarterly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen—across any podcast app or listening platform.
About the role
We're looking for a motivated and analytical Finance Support Specialist to join our Finance team. You'll be a key part of our team, providing expert guidance to our podcast creators, resolving financial questions, and ensuring they have a seamless experience.
You'll act as a bridge between our creators and our internal teams, sharing valuable feedback to help us continuously improve our products. This role is perfect for a proactive problem-solver who is motivated by helping others and wants to contribute to building a world-class support system.
What you´ll do
Be a creator advocate: You'll spend most of your time directly helping podcasters, answering their questions, and solving their problems with warmth and expertise.
Problem-solve with precision: Independently resolve technical issues for our creators. When a problem requires deeper expertise, you'll know when to escalate it to our L2 or L3 teams.
Collaborate and share: Gather crucial feedback and insights from our creators and share them with our internal teams, including product and engineering. Your observations will help us improve our platform.
Maintain our knowledge base: Help keep our help articles up to date and contribute to our internal knowledge base, making it easier for new team members to learn and grow.
Improve our processes: Use your experience and insights to identify opportunities to improve our support processes. You'll play a direct role in making our support synonymous with excellence.
Who you are
You're responsible and proactive, with a track record of working independently and efficiently for at least 1-2 years.
You have a genuine interest in technology and are driven to help others succeed.
You have strong analytical skills and a curious mindset that drives you to find solutions.
You are a natural communicator, open to new ideas and eager to share your knowledge with colleagues and customers.
You're motivated by creating satisfied customers and are committed to providing an exceptional level of service.
You are highly structured and enjoy contributing to and improving processes that make the entire team more efficient. You don't just identify problems—you actively work to fix them.
Culture
Acast is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin or any of the other wonderful characteristics that make us different.
