About the role
We are seeking a dynamic US Event & Trade Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and innovation of Acast’s marketing efforts in our most critical market. This is a unique opportunity to both shape and scale a function in a fast-paced, high-growth industry that’s redefining how brands and creators connect with audiences.
Reporting to the Global SVP of Marketing & Growth, you will own the end-to-end US B2B event marketing strategy, from earned opportunities and industry sponsorships to bespoke activations for clients and partners. You will be responsible for designing memorable experiences that build Acast’s brand, generate demand, and deepen relationships across the podcasting, media, and advertising landscape.
This role offers the chance to not only lead events but to shape how Acast shows up in the US market, building community, driving growth, and cementing Acast as the podcast industry’s leading marketplace.
Employment Type: Full-time, Salaried
Compensation: $100,000-$120,000 annually
What you´ll do
Event Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute Acast’s comprehensive US event marketing strategy, aligned with commercial priorities.
Identify, evaluate, and secure earned speaking engagements for key Acast spokespeople, creators, and executives at major industry conferences and trade shows.
Build and oversee a robust calendar of events and cultural moments to ensure Acast shows up meaningfully where our audiences are.
Localize and adapt global marketing initiatives for maximum impact in the US market.
Event Execution & Innovation
Oversee the planning and delivery of sponsored event activations, from concept to execution, ensuring they are distinctive, memorable, and measurable.
Partner with the US Sales team to design and execute client and agency activations, strengthening relationships with senior stakeholders at priority partners.
Collaborate with agencies, industry associations, distribution and creator partners to deliver co-marketing programs around key moments.
Drive creative excellence in how Acast shows up in-market—experimenting with new formats, venues, and technologies to surprise and delight audiences.
Business Impact & Measurement
Develop and implement an event attribution and ROI model in Salesforce to measure effectiveness and inform future investments.
Create and execute a barter strategy, leveraging Acast’s unsold inventory to maximize event visibility, demand generation, and partnership growth.
Manage event budgets with rigor, ensuring efficient allocation of resources without compromising impact.
Team Leadership & Growth
Manage, mentor, and grow a US Marketing Coordinator, building a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Content, PR, and Product Marketing to ensure events ladder up to Acast’s commercial and brand goals.
Who you are
A strategic thinker who thrives in execution, equally comfortable crafting long-term strategies and rolling up your sleeves to deliver best-in-class events.
A self-starter with strong organizational skills, who can juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experienced in B2B / trade marketing with a proven track record of driving business impact through events and partnerships.
Skilled in budget management and vendor negotiation, ensuring maximum ROI from event investments.
Familiar with CRM tools and marketing attribution workflows (Salesforce experience preferred).
A natural relationship-builder who can represent Acast confidently with senior stakeholders, partners, and clients.
5+ years of experience in event marketing, trade marketing, or B2B marketing.
Demonstrated experience building and executing successful event programs at scale.
Experience managing teams and agencies, with strong leadership and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into insights and recommendations.
