About the role
We are looking for a Talent Lead to join our People & Talent team. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter and people leader who has successfully led recruitment teams across both technical and commercial functions. As a publicly listed company with international operations, we are seeking someone who can combine hands-on recruitment leadership with strategic talent planning, employer branding, and operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, flexible environment, who can balance hiring priorities with cross-functional talent initiatives, and who possesses a strong understanding of corporate processes, governance, and compliance
What you´ll do
Team Leadership & Talent Acquisition
Lead and mentor a global team of recruiters handling tech and commercial hiring.
Drive end-to-end recruitment strategy, including workforce planning and headcount forecasting in alignment with Finance, P&L owners, and Hiring Managers.
Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture focused on candidate experience, quality of hire, and time to fill.
Strategic Talent Initiatives
Lead initiatives such as employer branding, talent mapping, and development and maintenance of our job level framework.
Own and continuously develop our library of job descriptions, ensuring alignment with role expectations, levelling, and compensation bands.
Governance & Compliance
Work closely with Finance to ensure resource planning aligns with internal controls, budget constraints, and delegated authorities.
Present hiring cases to the Hiring Committee, ensuring all proposals are fully aligned with Finance and relevant stakeholders in advance.
Sign agreements and offers in accordance with delegated authority limits.
Global Compliance & Best Practice
Ensure hiring and employment practices are aligned with legal and compliance requirements across our core markets (US, UK, Sweden, France, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Australia).
Prepare and proactively implement changes required by the Pay Transparency Act and other employment laws and regulations.
Monitor local legislation changes in collaboration with legal and finance, applying updates to employment contracts and consultancy agreements.
Oversee right-to-work documentation and work permit processes for relevant countries.
Consultancy & Contractor Oversight
Ensure consultancy agreements comply with company policy and local regulations.
Align closely with Finance on invoicing processes and contractor classifications to avoid misclassification risks.
Who you are
This ideal candidate is flexible and adaptable, excelling in dynamic, global environments by effectively managing shifting priorities and navigating different time zones. They are a strong relationship builder, adept at communication and stakeholder management. With a process-oriented approach, they confidently handle corporate governance, budgeting, and delegated authorities. Furthermore, their detail-driven nature ensures legal and operational compliance, while a strategic mindset balances immediate needs with long-term talent development and organizational scaling.
7+ years of experience in recruitment, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Proven experience managing recruitment teams in both technical and commercial domains.
Strong knowledge of global employment laws, hiring best practices, and compensation benchmarking.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects across multiple time zones and coordinate with distributed teams.
Experience working in or with publicly listed companies and understanding of internal controls and governance.
Experience working with HRIS and ATS systems (Bamboo, Teamtailor, etc.).
Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
