About the role
We are looking for a Growth Engineer with solid experience of driving user acquisition and retention.
You will work in an autonomous, purpose driven team, working in a cross-functional fashion with sales and marketing to grow our self-serve advertising platform. With your experience and competence within growth experimentation you will bring a key perspective into your team and we expect you to be the team's driver in designing and executing growth experiments utilising the cross functional setting.
As a Growth Engineer, you will play a dual role: actively contributing to all aspects of your team’s work while taking the lead when it comes to growth-related initiatives. Your expertise in growth experimentation—such as A/B testing, user analytics, and data-driven decision-making—will be essential in shaping and executing experiments that drive product adoption and engagement. In addition to actively driving these efforts, you work together with your team sharing growth-related knowledge, tooling, and best practices across the team. Ensuring that experimentation becomes an integral part of our product development process. While we expect you to be the key driver of growth initiatives, you will also contribute with the team on broader engineering challenges in a multidisciplinary, agile environment.
What you´ll do
You will be working in an experienced team spread across Europe. In collaboration with your team you will form and implement product solutions to simplify and enable podcast ad buying in a self-serve manner.
Since your team owns a customer facing product, essential in the customer relationship with Acast. Ensuring a delightful experience is key to both acquiring and retaining customers and here you are expected to play a key role in both defining and executing growth related experiments and initiatives in a cross functional setting.
The team owns critical services of our podcast ad buying platform that requires 24-hour support, for which you will be expected to partake in the on-call rotation.
Who you are
You have experience working with user acquisition and retention.
You have deep knowledge of designing & working with experiments, designing metrics and using data to verify or reject hypotheses and the technical tooling to aid this workflow.
You have an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong curiosity for uncovering opportunities to enhance the customer experience. You proactively explore new possibilities, take initiative to bring ideas to life through engineering, and inspire your team to join you on these journeys of discovery and improvement
You are interested in learning or have experience with Node.JS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
You have a pragmatic mindset and can make trade-offs on what to optimise for and when to ship.
How? Most of our teams operate in a hybrid fashion with some members co-located in offices and some working remotely. With a remote-first way of working we want you to feel productive regardless of work location!
Where? For this role, we’re hiring within Sweden or within the UK.
When? We want to avoid teams distributed over timezones, so this team will operate within the CET zone for collaboration. This setup allows us for more flexibility and work-life balance.
Culture & DEI
Acast is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin or any of the other wonderful characteristics that make us different.
Culture is our number one priority as a business. We believe people come first, and we work every day to enable autonomy, continuous improvement and bring out the best in people. We’re global and have remote teams, so it’s even more important that we strive for an open, inclusive and caring environment where everyone feels visible and welcome.
We consider ourselves a modern organization driven by strong values to create the best, most fulfilling and nurturing culture.
We very much look forward to finding the next great person to join our cause!
