Group Sales Executive - UK

About the role
As UK Group Sales Executive, you will be based in our office in London, expected to report into the Group Business Director. We are looking for a confident & tenacious individual to take a first step into working on a busy and thriving business patch. This role is ideal for someone who has sales planning experience in an audio sales house, and the drive to move into a sales role in a fast moving media environment.
What you´ll do
- Grow revenue across an agency sales group and client portfolio:
- Shape the strategy across key clients, teams and work closely with senior members of the sales team within your group so as to develop and maximise revenue growth.
- Contribute towards a sales target as well as helping the UK & Global team reach the wider target:
- Take the first step in working towards a target in a sales role, both as part of an agency patch but contributing to the wider team and group targets - with a view to consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Educate clients on the Acast Marketplace offering and keep them updated on the latest commercial opportunities:
- Establish great working relationships with clients, and work with them to showcase the benefit of podcast advertising. Provide guidance on how to best work with Acast on this, with reactive and proactive outreach
- Liaise with podcasters about new campaigns:
- Manage working relationships with podcasters and teams to bring new opportunities to them and sell in formats, creative ideas
- Liaise and collaborate across teams, with insights, Acast creative and brand partnerships to put together media plans and proposals for your clients:
- Utilise all available resources and support from teams to pull together tailored and well considered proposals.
- Establish great working relationships and processes with each
- Work closely with the creator network team to understand commercial opportunities:
- Identify and champion priority commercial opportunities across the Creator Network.
- Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Stay informed about podcast industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging advertising technologies.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Sales Planning support:
- Building media plans and brief responses for your own client patch as well as to support the wider team
Who you are
- Experience:
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in media
- Familiarity with podcast advertising, digital audio, or media buying
- Skills:
- Proven desire to work within a fast paced sales environment
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capability to simplify complex concepts for clients - face to face, on phone & in writing
- Creatively minded
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work well under pressure
- Driven & resilient
- Proficient in using Excel, Word and Google Slides
- Good communication skills: face to face, on phone & in writing
- Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised
- Strong attention to detail
